The Group’s French teams transformed a convent dating from 1613 into a five-star hotel and spa through two tightly sequenced 16-month phases, combining the careful restructuring of the historic building with a contemporary extension. Historic vaults were reinforced and 80 new openings created while preserving the character of the convent’s chapel, requiring exceptional structural expertise and sensitivity to the existing architecture. Geothermal energy, bio-based materials and distinctive regional finishes, including Burgundy stone and Raujolles earthenware, further embed responsible luxury within the site’s enduring heritage.
