Hotel de Crillon

At Hôtel de Crillon, the Group’s French activity led the palace’s most significant transformation since the eighteenth century, coordinating 200 companies and 20 master craftspeople, artists and Compagnons over four years. Under the artistic direction of Aline Asmar d’Amman, with contributions from leading designers including Karl Lagerfeld, more than 600 exceptional materials were brought together, from onyx, mica and palladium to 53 varieties of marble. The project combined the preservation of Parisian heritage with the creation of new spaces and experiences, including enlarged rooms, new restaurants and a subterranean spa and swimming pool carved six metres beneath the historic palace.
